Marta Airport Station to Undergo Renovation for 6 weeks

MARTA Authorities have announced a 6 week suspension due to renovation. As per reports, the stations will be off-limits between April 8 to May 19. During the renovation period, MARTA will offer ADA-compliant shuttle service between College Park Station and the North Terminal’s lower level from 4 a.m. to 2 a.m. every day. Transportation and airport officials are asking travelers to add 30 extra minutes to their estimated journey if they plan to use the shuttle.

“As we continue to serve as a vital hub for global travel, the upcoming renovations at MARTA’s Airport Station reflect our joint commitment to enhancing the travel experience,” General Manager ATL Airport, Balram “B” Bheodari expressed in a statement. MARTA has been consistently rehabilitating and improvising the transport system since June 2022. The renovations at the airport station are also part of MARTA’s rehabilitation program which will continue occasionally till 2025.
