Barcelona–El Prat Airport (BCN) is the main international gateway to Catalonia and one of the busiest airports in Spain. Located just southwest of central Barcelona, it combines Mediterranean charm with world-class aviation services.

BCN Airport Location
BCN is located about 15 km (9 miles) southwest of Barcelona city centre, in El Prat de Llobregat. Close to major highways and public transport routes, it is easily reached by train, metro, bus, taxi and private car.
BCN Facilities
BCN offers duty-free shops, Catalan and international restaurants, cafés, currency exchange, free Wi-Fi, VIP lounges and children’s play areas. Its modern architecture and art displays also reflect the region’s rich Catalan culture.
Ground Transportation
Metro line L9 Sud serves both terminals, and the Rodalies R2 Nord train runs from Terminal 2 to the city centre. The Aerobús express bus, taxis, private transfers and rideshare services and on-site car rental offer further options.
BCN is the main hub for Vueling and a key base for Iberia, Ryanair and many international airlines. It offers nonstop flights to more than 190 destinations across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Asia, including London, Paris, New York, Dubai and Doha.
BCN has two terminals: the larger, modern Terminal 1 (T1), which handles most international flights, and Terminal 2 (T2), divided into T2A, T2B and T2C. A free shuttle bus connects both terminals, each offering shopping, dining and lounges.
Parking Services
BCN offers general, long-stay, express and VIP parking to suit every trip. All car parks are clearly signposted and easily accessible from the terminals, with online booking available and electric vehicle charging points in designated zones.
