Cathay Pacific to Launch Nonstop Flights from DFW to Hong Kong
Cathay Pacific is now launching a new nonstop connection from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) to Hong Kong. From April 24, 2025, such a route will restore a direct connection between the two regions, which has been suspended since 2020.
An Essential Link between Two World Cities
The new route is expected to promote cultural and business cooperation between North America and Asia to increase. Sean Donohue, Chief Executive Officer of DFW, emphasized the importance of this development:
“Connecting the cultural and commercial opportunities between DFW and Hong Kong with a nonstop flight is crucial for these two globally influential regions,” Donohue stated. “We are excited to welcome Cathay Pacific as our newest international airline, with service that will grow DFW’s connectivity throughout Asia and beyond.”
Schedule and Aircraft Details
Cathay Pacific will initially fly this service four times a week with DFW flights scheduled for Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The airline will employ its new generation fuel efficient Airbus A350-1000 that provides comfort and luxury to passengers.

With this new channel, travelers will have easy and convenient connection to not only Hong Kong – a major center of trade, business, and visitor attraction – but also the whole range of Cathay Pacific’s connectivity across Asia. For instance, from Hong Kong, passengers can easily transfer to other stations to access other destinations and that’s why the station is appealing to businesspersons as well as tourists.
