Milestone brings JFK closer to a streamlined roadway network and clearer terminal access.
New routes to terminals
- Terminal 1: Direct via Van Wyck Expy. From JFK Expy use Exit B to connect to Van Wyck.
- Terminal 4: Direct via Van Wyck Expy or JFK Expy.
- Terminal 5: Direct via JFK Expy. From Van Wyck use Exit 1 to connect to JFK Expy.
- Terminal 7: Direct via JFK Expy. From Van Wyck use Exit 1 to connect to JFK Expy.
- Terminal 8: Direct via JFK Expy. From Van Wyck use Exit 1 to connect to JFK Expy.
Ride app pick up relocations
Terminal 4
12:00 to 02:00 pick ups move to Lot 66 with free shuttle every 1 to 2 minutes from the terminal front. Other hours meet rides in front of the terminal.
Terminals 5 and 7
Pick ups are at the Howard Beach Ride App Lot. Use the free in-airport AirTrain to reach the lot.
- Departing passengers are still dropped at terminal fronts.
- ADA accessible rideshares continue at terminal fronts for pick up and drop off.
Free Wait Lot at Lefferts Blvd AirTrain Station
Use the Pick up Drop off Lot at Lefferts Blvd AirTrain Station. It is near the airport entrance via Van Wyck Expy or Belt Parkway and is an 8 minute AirTrain ride from any terminal.
- For pick ups: Passenger rides AirTrain to Lefferts Blvd stop then walks to meet their ride.
- For drop offs: Navigate to JFK Lefferts Blvd AirTrain Station and continue to terminals as needed.
Heads up: These changes support ongoing construction. Use the Free Wait Lot to help reduce congestion in terminal roadways.
