What is the address within the airport where I can fedex mail the Tax receipts with the declaration form for claiming tax refund. The officer was rude there and did not guide me correctly to post for the refund which was right next to the validation kiosk after I had completed the stamping done.
Please help me.
Thank you

Hi Pavan! After completing the validation process at the customs kiosk (PABLO), you will typically find a designated mailbox near the customs desk, which is often located close to the tax refund kiosk. This is where you can submit your tax refund documents, including the original receipts. For additional details, you can check with airport staff.

Hi Nunticha, you can find Tax Refund offices or machines at Paris CDG Airport in Terminals 1, 2, and 3. The locations are usually near the customs area after security control. Look for signs directing you to "Tax Refund" or ask at the information desk.

Hi Clariza, if you are departing from Paris Est by train, you won't find a tax refund kiosk directly at the station. However, you can process your VAT refund at Paris Gare du Nord station, which is nearby and provides tax refund kiosks for travelers leaving the EU.

Bonjour Joel,

Hello
For the tax refund kiosks (PABLO) in Terminal 2D at CDG airport, it is in departures at gate 6, is this after security in the duty free area or before security in the public area?

Hello,
The PABLO tax refund kiosks near Gate 6 are located before the security check in the public area of the departures level. This means you can access them without going through security screening.
For further guidance, feel free to consult the airport's assistance desk at Terminal 2D.

Alışveriş yaptığımız yerlerde tax i nakit mi yoksa karta geri ödeme diye sorduklarında nakit olsun demiştim.

The machine and the office were close at the time of my flight, so I couldn’t scan the code and get the refund. What should I do now? I already left France.

Hello, you can still apply for your VAT refund by mail. Mail your VAT refund form, passport copy, receipts, and an explanation of your situation to the French Customs Attaché at a French consulate near you. Ensure your application is sent within six months of your purchase to remain eligible for the refund.

Hi! Yes, you would generally follow the same steps if you missed completing the VAT refund in Italy. Since you tried at CDG but couldn’t scan your barcodes, you can mail your completed VAT refund forms, receipts, and a copy of your passport to the relevant customs office in France. Make sure to include an explanation of your situation.
For Italian purchases, you can also contact the retailer or the refund service provider mentioned on your form for specific mailing instructions. This process usually works for items bought within the EU, but ensure it's done within six months of the purchase.

Dear Sir,
Thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, the cash refund process at CDG Airport must be completed in person at the refund counter before departure. Since you missed this step, your tax refund cannot be converted into a credit card refund retroactively.
To address this, you can contact the tax refund operator (e.g., Global Blue, Planet, or others) directly with the details of your refund application. Include your scanned barcode receipt and any supporting documents to explain the situation. They might guide you on alternative solutions.

Hello,
You must process your VAT refund at CDG (Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport) during transit, as it is your final departure point from the EU. Use the PABLO kiosks or Customs desk for validation, then proceed to the refund counter. Zurich is outside the EU and cannot handle VAT refunds.
