Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport has been crowned the world’s friendliest airport, according to a new report by UK-based Airport Parking & Hotels (APH). The study found that 73.6% of passenger reviews mentioning staff were positive, placing Taoyuan ahead of Cornwall Newquay Airport (73.3%) and Japan’s Narita Airport (73.1%).

Other Asian airports in the top 10 include South Korea’s Jeju International and Dubai International. APH highlighted Taoyuan’s family zones, gym, and e-sports area as key features that make waiting more enjoyable for travelers.

Passengers describe Taoyuan’s staff as “friendly,” “helpful,” and “efficient.” The report analyzed over 71,000 Google reviews posted between late May and late August, searching for 52 keywords linked to positive staff experiences.
