The typhoon is also affecting international air travel. China Airlines announced that its flights between Taiwan and Shanghai would be canceled on Sunday.

Flights between Taipei Songshan Airport and Shanghai Hongqiao Airport are affected.
Taoyuan
China Airlines flights between Taoyuan International Airport and Shanghai Pudong are also canceled.
Kaohsiung
Flights between Kaohsiung International Airport and Shanghai Pudong are also affected.
Airlines Add More Capacity to Okinawa
While some flights are canceled, airlines are adding more capacity between Taiwan and Okinawa in Japan to help passengers affected by the disruptions.
China Airlines
China Airlines will use larger aircraft on flights between Taoyuan and Okinawa.
EVA Air
EVA Air will also use larger aircraft on all Taoyuan-Okinawa flights on Sunday.
Starlux Airlines
Starlux Airlines will operate additional flights between Taipei and Okinawa on Sunday and Monday.
