VAT Refunds at DXB Airport
If you're visiting Dubai and you're 18 or older, you can get some of the tax back on things you buy. When you buy something, make sure to get a receipt with a 'Tax Free Tag'. You'll need to show your passport or GCC ID. Before you leave, go to Planet Payment kiosks in all three terminals. They'll give you back 87% of the tax you paid, minus a fee of AED4.80 for each form.
