A Major Expansion: Line 14's New Route

The long-awaited further of the Metro Line 14 has finally become a reality and links Saint-Denis Pleyel with Aéroport d’Orly, which makes commuting between Paris and the city’s major aviation hub possible. Seven new stations were included in this automated metro line, which connects ten towns in Paris, Val-de-Marne, and Essonne. Currently, travelers can get to Paris-Orly Airport from central Paris within a quarter of an hour.

Temporary Closure for Flipping and Modernization

That is why the disruption of Berlin’s Line 14 will continue until the end of 2024; it undergoes modernization as a part of the extension of Line 14. Specifically, the line will shutter daily from 10 pm onwards, from Monday to Thursday, between September 9 and December 19, and on Sundays. But it remains open on certain important days, for instance, the 15th of November and the 11th of November. They should seek other means of transport during such periods.
