Five Ottoman Sultans' tombs can be found in the Hagia Sophia cemetery. The ceramic panels, which feature purple, red, green, and blue floral motifs, are among the most exquisite examples from the 16th century. On the sarcophagus are displayed royal robes and a fragment of the Kaaba covers.
