Topkap Palace, the home of the Ottoman Sultans, featured a kitchen, Chinese porcelain, weapons, a calligraphy section, and sacred Islamic artifacts of the Prophet Mohammed. Live guide commentary is prohibited in designated areas. (The program does not include harem)

Five Ottoman Sultans' tombs can be found in the Hagia Sophia cemetery.

The ceramic panels, which feature purple, red, green, and blue floral motifs, are among the most exquisite examples from the 16th century. On the sarcophagi, there are displays of princely robes and a small fragment of the Kaaba covers.

Important Notes

- Tuesdays are a holiday at Topkapi Palace. Replaced by the Cistern of the Underground Basilica.

- The program does not include a harem section.

- Sultan Tombs on Monday replaced with Little Hagia Sophia (St. Sergius & Bacchus).
