flydubai Unveils New Business Class Lounge at Dubai International Airport
Low-cost airline carrier flydubai unveils its new Business Class Lounge at Terminal 2 of the Dubai International Airport (DXB). This new lounge provides better comfort for traveling, designed specifically Business Class travelers.
It is spacious and conveniently or ideally located. The lounge occupies a space of 900 sqm and is designed for more than 200 passengers, it is located after the passport control and security channels. Its location ensures quick and easy accustoming to boarding gates and special Business Class shuttle buses.
Grand Opening with Notable Guests
The launch event was attended by prominent figures, including Hamad Obaidalla, Chief Commercial Officer at flydubai; H.E. Major-General Obaid Muhair bin Suroor, Deputy Director-General of the GDRFA; Major-General Talal Ahmed Al Shanqiti, General Director Assistant of the GDRFA; Major-General Ali Atiq bin Lahej, Acting Assistant Commandant for Ports Affairs; H.E. Jamal Al-Hai, Deputy CEO at Dubai Airports; and Majed Al Joker, COO at Dubai Airports, alongside other stakeholders and media representatives.
Contemporary Architecture Inspired by Desert Dunes
This lounge has a modern design concept derived from the desert sand waves’ appearance. Key features include:
- Warm tones and minimalist decor
- Glass facade that provided a view of the tarmac and let in natural light
- Special places for recreation or a working environment
Facilities Available for a Comfortable Trip
Passengers can enjoy an array of services, including:
- Places to eat with a buffet or à la carte food station
- Free wireless internet and business centers
- Charging stations showering facilities as well and a prayer room
Hailing 15 Years of flydubai
Hamad Obaidalla highlighted the milestone, saying: “We remain committed to constantly evolving and investing in enhancing customer experience, both in the air and on the ground. The new lounge offers an enjoyable and seamless travel experience for our Business Class passengers from Terminal 2.”

Members of the membership can gain partial access to the lounges depending on their membership level on Emirates Skywards.
Supplementing Recent Advances
In fact this year, flydubai introduced a Business Class check-in section at Terminal 2 that offered individual personalized services, seated check-in, and Fast Track.
This latest addition expands the superior journey they intend to provide to their clients through flydubai even higher.
