In accordance with the guide published by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation in Turkish government and for a healthy and safe trip, we will explain to you down below the restrictions applied for Turkey arrival.

All passengers who intend to enter Turkey after March 14th are required to fill  Turkey Traveler Entry Form 72 hours prior to departure and a private HES code will be created automatically by the given information for each visitor in order to contain the spread of Coronavirus.

  During the airport check-in, passengers should print out a form of the passenger clearance or have a soft copy of it on their mobile phones, tablet devices and present it to the flight operator staff. 

Passengers will also need to use a code known as  HES code throughout their staying duration in Turkey in order to use some public services such as public transportation cards etc.

What is a HES Code?

A HES code is a  private personal code implemented by the Turkish Ministry of Health to reduce the presence of passengers who are positive or have contact with a positive patient to be on board in Domestic and International Flights during controlled social life conditions.

HES stand for (Hayat Eve Sığar ) in Turkish language which means (Life Fits Into Home) in English, the code helps you safely share your Covid-19 risk status with individuals and institutions for daily activities such as transportation or circulations for traveling. 

It is mandatory to have a valid HES (Hayat Eve Sığar) code when purchasing a Bus, Train, Plane ticket, travelling long distances between cities inside Turkey.

In order to get the code you have to fıll in a form at the entrance (check the pink bar above), in case you haven’t filled in the form correctly or you gave misleading statements, you might face Administrative and Legal sanctions or even may not be permitted to enter Turkey (Unless you are a Turkish Citizen or residence permit holder ).

What Do You Need to Obtain HES Code?

Before you start to fill in the form you'll need :
- Your identification documents.
- Your travel information.

You will have to provide information about your passport and Itinerary  (Full name, passport no, nationality, and current living location, details of the places you have visited over the last 10 days, arrival date to Turkey, air carriers, and flight number).

In addition to your contact information (E-mail Address, Phone Number), you should also specify the address where you will stay in Turkey.

When Should I Complete Turkey Entry Form?

You should fill in the passenger clearance within the last 72 hours before your trip.
Please answer all questions thoroughly and accurately to protect your loved one's and your health during the Covid-19 pandemic. 

After providing all of the information a private HES code will be created automatically based on credentials. We will be in contact with you in case of any contact with Covid-19 patients during your stay in Turkey using the HES code information.
