I am travelling from Nigeria to Dubai in April with me two kids (10yrs & 14 yrs) we will be transiting through Istanbul via Turkish airline and we have a layover of 12hours. We intend to visit Istanbul city during our transit period. I am fully vaccinated but my two young kids are not. Please kindly advise what we need to do in order to visit Istanbul city. Will PCR test done 24hours ago from Nigeria permit us to transit through Turkish city before boarding on our flight to Dubai?. Also is there a layover hotel in Istanbul airport i can pay and rest?

I need help. My situation is this. I am a Zimbabwean passport holder wanting to fly to Australia. I will board Turkish airlines in Johannesburg South Africa for my journey to Australia.
Turkish airlines will have an 18 hour layover in Instanbul before going to Singapore and from Singapore to Sydney.
My question is when I reach Istanbul airport will they require me to provide a transit visa?
I am afraid I might be denied entry into Turkey by immigration officials if I do not present a transit visa.
I have heard situations of others who have been denied entry to turkey by failing to provide transit visa.

No chitsidzo, transit visa and the other requirements are needed when the passenger needs to leave the transit area. If you're staying only in the transit area then you won't need to provide anything.
