Hi , my girlfriend and myself would like to visit Turkey next week. We will travel from Uk. I’m a Uk passport holder and girlfriend is a Thailand passport holder. Do we need vaccination certificate or can we provide negative test before entry ? I have proof of 2 vaccination but girlfriend does not have proof although she has had vaccination. Please reply asap as time is short. Thanks very much Nick

Dear Nicholas, When it comes to entering Turkey you will need to show your proof of vaccination and your girlfriend need to make a PCR test and submit the results upon arrival. Even if she made the vaccine, the certificate should be at least 14days old. Don't forget to submit your mandatory HES code from the 'Turkey Entry Form'. Check the link for more info: https://airport.online/istanbul-airport/en/hes-code

Hello,I want to grasp and try to fathom why any of these extreme measures of travel restrictions are being applied when we clearly understand the real science behind the RT Pcr tests are not designed to analyse or test any viruses which i might add was a creation of Dr Kary Mullis who before his sad demise and assassination stated as mentioned above, defacto. My husband and I have previously travelled to this beautiful Islamic nation but because we are now subjected to absolutely draconian totalitarian laws and unjust rules we are unable to travel only if we take their death jabs and fraudulent rapid flow tests. Please refer to the website confirming.wwwlaquintacolumna.net This without a shadow of any doubt proves that the entire COVID is a scamdemic in order to place countries like Turkey into a financial delimma preventing its massive and most popular tourist destinations/passengers from entering or travelling only and if they take these useless tests and vaccines which have literally killed thousands of people across the globe.I urge you to please please get in contact with your minister for tourism and explain to him that Dr Reiner Fuellmich along with his dedicated team have filed a damping report under the Nuremberg code trials to stop All pcr tests and inadvertently stopping the very dangerous so called vaccines, which we know are Not vaccines. Please understand I and my darling wife seriously need to travel to see our beloved Turkish friends and are in serious positions to move permanently to Turkey but these measures applied by the corrupt world health organisation proving pseudoscience has been used in order to place fear into the world. I know this entire statement maybe strange to you Sir or Madam but I can assure you that my words are sincere and can be proven without a doubt.InshAllah, I pray my wife Sophia and I can travel under our unalienable rights to travel without restrictions? Kind regards

Dear Abi, We wish if we can do something about your case, but unfortunately, it is not up to us, we're not the ones who make the regulations and the restrictions, were only in charge of communicating the information to the passengers in order to have an idea about the traveling situation before planning their travel. We wish you the best of luck, and we hope that you can make it when the restrictions get removed at some point and it is much safer to travel.

Hi. I am from Indonesia and will be visiting Turkey on Jan 2nd with my wife and 3 children (all below 12 years old). My wife and I are fully vaccinated, but all 3 children are not vaccinated yet. Do we need to have a PCR test before entering Turkey?

No Addy, but you might need to make an instant test upon your arrival to Turkey, but overall a vaccination certificate is enough to enter the country. The travel restrictions do not apply to children below 12years.

I'm traveling from India to the US with transit at Istanbul airport. Do I need to complete any COVID related forms or carry a negative RT PCR test before I board my flight to Istanbul? Note: I will be carrying a negative RT PCR test for entry into the US per their travel requirements.

Yes Addarsh, you need to complete the Turkey Entry Form in order to maintain the mandatory HES code, besides that you can enter Turkey with your RT PCR test. But if you're not planning to leave the transit area then you won't need any requirements.

Hi! I'm traveling from USA with the USA Passport to Belarus... Since I cannot purchase tickets from USA to Belarus due to ban. I had to purchase two separate tickets. First Flight From USA to Istanbul and a second ticket from Istanbul to Belarus. I have 2 checked-in luggage suitcases, so once I arrive to Istanbul I will have to leave the transit area to pick up my luggage and then go back to check in again because my flight is in 2 hours. Is there any way my luggage can be brought to me so that I wouldn't have to leave the transit area to pick up my luggage? And will I be required to quarantine if I leave the transit area? I'm not vaccinated and I have a negative PCR test under 72 hours. Please reply as soon as possible. TY

Dear Ruslan, You will have to take care of your luggage while you're there at the Airport. For leaving the transit area you will have to make an instant test upon your arrival. Passengers coming from the USA don't need to quarantine.

Most Libyan nationals need a visa to visit Turkey. Only citizens of Libya who are under the age of 16 or over 55 can enter the country without a visa and stay for up to 90 days per 180-day period. All other citizens need to apply for a visa before departure. You can get your Visa online, check the link for more details: https://airport.online/istanbul-airport/en/evisa

No Boshko, passengers who only have transit in the Istanbul airport do not need to submit a PCR test as long as they stay in the transit area.
