Transit passengers who wish to visit the city must have a visa, even if they will only stay for a few hours. A visa will not be required
if the passenger will remain inside the transit area of the airport.Check the following links for more details: https://airport.online/istanbul-airport/en/transit-visa-turkey

Hello, I am an Indian citizen residing in India and planning to travel to Turkey for 10 days in April 2022. I will also be taking intercity domestic flights within Turkey. Kindly guide me for COVID precautions that I need to follow. Also clarify whether there will be random testing on arrival at Istanbul airport even if I have already submitted negative PCR report along with fully vaccinated certificate. Also kindly clarify whether I need to undergo more PCR testing for boarding domestic flights within Turkey while travelling from one tourist spot to another?

Hey Rahul, for passengers wishing to enter Turkey, they must have a PCR test that is made 72hours at most, a vaccination certificate, or a covid recovery, also they complete the "Turkey Traveler Entry" webform and maintain the HES Code (health certificate) 72 hours at most before departing and presented at check-in and upon arriving. The paper printout of the filled form or the mobile screenshot of the filled form will be checked at the stations before the flight. If you make a Covid test before your travel then you won't need to test upon your arrival.
When it comes to the domestic flights, a simple vaccination certificate can allow you to travel intercity next to the HES code.
You can check the recognized vaccines by Turkey and other infor at the following link: https://airport.online/istanbul-airport/en/accepted-vaccines-turkey
