No Sadeeka, Passengers who have only transit in the Istanbul airport do not need to submit a PCR test as long as they stay in the transit area, they must pay attention to the requirements of the country of destination with regards to PCR testing, age limits, and isolation periods.

Hi, I am Indonesian, living in Cuba. I'am fully vaccinated (with Abdala Vaccine made in Cuba). Are my Vaccines recognized by the Turkish state and does Turkey require certain types of vaccines to be recognized by the state? I will go to Turkey by air canada which transits in Toronto and the Netherlands.

Dear sir madam, I am flying Turkish airlines to Manchester from Bangkok (3 of us) on the 16th of January , as we will transit in Istanbul 2 hrs before our connecting flight to Manchester do we require a Covid test prior to arrival fir transit the UK do not require one now but unsure if Turkish airlines or Turkish gov require one for boarding and transit ? Yes Ian, you can board to the transit area and stay there without having to submit any PCR test. If you want to leave the transit then you should make a PCR test.

I would like to travel from Australia to Fatih, Istanbul and stay for a week. What requirements do I need to meet before being able to travel to Fatih, Istanbul?
I believe I need to complete a travel declaration form 72 hours prior my flight, yes? Also, in completing the declaration form I believe I will automatically receive a HES code, yes? Do I need to take a RAT or PCR test before my departure to Turkiye? Is there anything else that I need? Thank you and Kind Regards,

Yes Muhammet, you will need to make a PCR test 72 hours before landing If you're not vaccinated. If you hold a vaccination certificate and you're fully vaccinated, then you will need to make a Rapid test upon your arrival at the Istanbul Airport.

we're flying back from cape town to berlin via istanbul. Flights are still offered via turkish airlines although the travel ban took place. Are these transit flights still possible or flights will be cancelled soon?
