Passengers who have only transit in the Istanbul airport do not need to submit a PCR test as long as they stay in the transit area, you must pay attention to
the requirements of the country of your destination with regards to PCR testing, age limits, and isolation periods.

I am vaccinated with 1 dose of Sinovac and contracted Covid in November 2021. Can I still travel to Turkey?

Yes EU, you can still travel to Turkey but with a PCR test that you will have to make 72hours before landing. One vaccine dose is not enough to maintain a Covid vaccine certificate.

Yes Abdul, for international flights you will need to make a Rapid test upon your arrival before leaving the Airport, and for domestic flights, a PCR test is mandatory when you're not fully vaccinated next to the HES code.

Hi. We are flying from Denmark to Maldives via Istanbul (transit only for a few hours). Do we need to fill in any papers before the transit in Istanbul? And do we need a negative PCR or is vaccination documentation ok? We are both fully vaccinated. Thanks.

Hi,
I plan to book a flight Luxembourg-Ukraine and return to Luxembourg (transit via Istanbul). Do I need to pass any Covid test in Istanbul or hold a Covid vaccination certificate in order to be able to transit via Istanbul (transit less than 4 hours)?
Also, if I want to book a ticket with a student discount, can I book it via the website or do I need to call to the call center?
Finally, is the checked baggage included in the ticket price? If yes, what is the maximum weight allowed if I have a MIles & More Lufthansa card?
Thank you!

Yes Gita, flights from Nepal are banned right now to enter Turkey, but if it's only a transit stop; then you don't need to take a test if you're not leaving the transit area. If youre planning to get out then you will need a Rapid test since you hold a vaccination certificate.

No Sandisa, the visa is related to the passport you hold. You can request an E-Visa with your South African pass easily at the following link: https://airport.online/istanbul-airport/en/evisa
