Dear Victoria,
Passengers who only have transit in the Istanbul Airport, do not need any requirements as long as they stay in the transit area.

Dear Jesus,
If you can manage to get a paper that proves that your son got his two full doses, then he can use it as an alternative pass to enter Turkey. However, if you cannot manage to get a paper then he can get a Covid Antigen rapid test in the airport.
We wish you a good trip, and make sure you maintain all of your HES codes at least 24hours before you land.

Dear Dahlia,
In order to enter the Turkish territory, you will need two simple things: a Covid vaccination certificate and a HES code that is also a digital health certificate that you can simply maintain from the following form: https://airport.online/istanbul-airport/en/hes-code-apply?o=step1
You can also read more about the HES code in the same article since it's mandatory in Turkey.
We wish you a great vacation, if you have more questions feel free to reach us.

Hai..
I am gonna be flying from Indonesia. would like to ask you about the proof of Vaccine Certificate and PCR Results, should show those in form of documents (paper) or we could just show those in soft copy files (i.e. pdf, email attachment)?and then when I researched about how to enter turkey, I found another form to fill before I enter Turkey, which is this https://register.health.gov.tr/
Which form should we fill before we enter turkey? the HES Code or that one also or both?
thank you so much for your help

Dear Rizky,
Regardless of the certificate that you have, it is always better to have both digital and a printed copy to demonstrate at the entrance of Turkey. When it comes to the HES code, as you might read in the article above; the code gets maintained on the official website of the health minister, there isn't another form for that purpose.
So before you land in Turkey, make sure you enter all of your details correctly on that form and you will get the HES code sent into your email with a bar code that will be scanned during your entrance.

Hi, I will be traveling into Turkey from Singapore, and I'm fully vaccinated with Moderna (2 doses). Can I check if Turkey recognizes the Moderna vaccination certificate issued by the Singapore government? Would I only need the vaccination certificate and HES code to enter Turkey?
Thank you so much - your prompt replies here is very helpful! I've been searching for information for entry, and you guys are doing an amazing job helping clarify all of our travel-related doubts. Hope you stay safe too!

Dear Karina,
Turkey accepts valid Covid vaccination, try to check with your airline about the details but overall two valid vaccine doses are enough to enter Turkey on top of the HES code.
We appreciate your kind words, we're here to respond to passenger's questions and make their travel preparations easier.

Dear Saso,
If you don't hold a vaccination certificate that shows that you're fully vaccinated, then you will have to submit a Negative PCR test and a HES code in order to enter Turkey.

Hi, I will be entering Turkey from Slovenia for tourism. Do I still need the PCR test/rapid antigen test if I have the vaccination certificate (from Singapore). The admission rules under the "Check the entry admission rules of Turkey" stated that the PCR test/rapid antigen test is required in addition to the HES Code.

Dear Lim,
If you have a vaccination certificate you won't be needing a PCR or a Rapid test, you only need to maintain your HES code 72hours at most before landing.
