hi, im a fully vaccinated uk citizen working in indonesia. There is a current travel ban on all citizens from uk returning to indonesia. I have been in the uk since 17th Dec 2021. I'm considering a 14 day stop over in turkey as an option. Are there any quarantine requirements for uk citizens entering at this time ?

No Simon, there are no quarantine restrictions. All you need is a PCR test in case you are vaccinated and a HES code that you can get from the "Turkey Traveler
Entry" webform 24h before landing.

I would like to ask regarding my situation, I will be travelling to malta with a family visit visa and my departure from Philippines is in January 11,2022. I was authorised and received a authorisation code and declaration form prior travel to malta.
My itinerary was Manila-Turkey-Malta-Turkey-Manila, my concern is do i need to undergo 14days quarantine in turkey before entering malta or no need upon arrival only in malta need to undergo the 14 days quarantine because of the authorised travel and code i received.
As per Vfs global it's a new health protocols by malta for travellers to undergo 14days quarantine in a red list country before can enter to malta. thank you..

Dear Wilson,
The only condition that will require you to quarantine is having a Positive Pcr test upon your arrival in case you're not fully vaccinated. You will also need to get a HES code 24hours before arriving which is mandatory for the Covid follow-up.

Dear Federico,
Passengers who have transit in the Istanbul airport do not need to submit a PCR test as long as they stay in the transit area.

Hi
Thanks for your response.
I am confused as I was told that south africans cannot take a direct flight to turkey which is ok. But the turkish embassy told me that my kids will have to quarantine for 14 days if they want to enter turkey. I know have no idea as i need to book their onward ticket to ganja. What dates do i use? This is very conflicting and can't have my kids in a problem.

The regulations keep on changing based on the Covid situation in the countries. Now South Africans can transit but they need to submit a negative PCR test in order to get off the airport.
Try to contact the Turkish Embassy and the Azerbaijani Embassy in South Africa for more exact info.

Is the ban on the 10 souther african countries still present?

Yes Fisnik, you might need another test upon your arrival if you're not fully vaccinated. But if you're not planning to leave the transit area, you won't need any requirements.
