Dear Alina,
You don't need a PCR test if are fully vaccinated, for the requirements transit passengers don't need to submit anything as long as they stay in the transit area.

Dear Abdus,
You don't have to worry as long as your kids are vaccinated and they have a certificate for their vaccination, then they can enter Istanbul and stay for the period they need without quarantine. But they will need to submit a Negative PCR test and getting a HES code (health certificate) that is mandatory in Turkey for the Covid follow-up. The code is easily maintained online. They can know more about the HES code from the following page: https://airport.online/istanbul-airport/en/hes-code

Dear Jonar,
Besides the PCR test, you will be needing to maintain a HES code (health certificate) by completing the "Turkey Traveler Entry" webform 72 hours at most before departing and presented at check-in and upon arriving.

Dear Mari,
Vaccinated passengers don't need to submit any test in order to enter Turkey as long as they hold paper proof of their vaccination for 14days before traveling, and a HES code that is mandatory to maintain hours before landing.

Hi, can I enter Turkey with 48HR antigen test, or, only 72HR PCR test is required? Coming from the US (I see only PCR as being the option on Turkish Consulate website)

Dear Celine,
The HES code is mandatory because it helps track the Covid situation, you need an activated HES code 24hours before your travel. When it comes to the PCR test, it isn't mandatory as long as you're fully vaccinated.

Hello, I am a Georgian citizen, fully vaccinated with 2 doses of Pfeizer.
On 31 January 2022 I will be traveling from Dushanbe (Tajikistan) to Tbilisi (Georgia) via Istanbul airport (long layover). During the layover I would like to leave the transit area and go to Istanbul for shopping/meeting friends. I will hold a Negative PCR test done in Tajikistan before departure and I will fill out the form for the HES Code. Will I require an additional PCR test at the airport upon leaving or prior entering the airport for my final departure to Tbilisi? Is there any other restriction or requirement that I would need to consider during planning my trip? Thanks a lot!
