Yes Hadia, US passport holders can get a visa on arrival in Turkey. Passengers have to wait in line and pay the visa fee in cash, US dollars, Euros, or British pounds are accepted. To avoid delays in arrival at the airport, Americans are advised to apply in advance using the eVisa system. Check the following link for more info: https://airport.online/istanbul-airport/en/evisa

Sure Mo, you can travel to the Republic of Turkey using the Covid recovery certificate without the need to make any test.

Hi! I am flying in February from Sofia, Bulgaria, to Mexico via Istanbul. I am not vaccinated. The transit stay time is about 3 hours. I see that I do not need a PCR if I do not exit the transit area. But do I need to fill in the webform before my flight from Sofia to Istanbul?

No Milena, you don't need to fill in the entry form if you're not leaving the exit area. Make sure you check the requirements of the country of your destination.

Sure Ali, you can still travel to the Republic of Turkey with a negative PCR test that should be made 72hours at most before landing and applying for the entry code from the Turkey Entry Webform.

No Davidson, passengers who have only transit in the Istanbul airport do not need to submit any requirements as long as they stay in the transit area. However, if you're planning to leave the transit and go to the Istanbul Airport Hotel, then you should make an instant test and get a HES code 24hours before your travel in order to enter the Yotel area.

No Lailah, for vaccinated passengers wishing to enter Turkey, they must complete the "Turkey Traveler Entry" webform and maintain the HES Code (health certificate) 72 hours at most before departing and presented at check-in and upon arriving.

My son 13 years old is unvaccinated. Can he enter istanbul with me with only Rapid covid-19 test? If we will go to other cities with bus, possible without vaccine pass or we have to stay only in istanbul? Thanks

Yes Houssem, your son can travel with you using an individual Rapid test. For domestic travel, a PCR or Rapid test is mandatory next to the HES code in order to circulate inside the country.

I go to Libya Tripoli on January 23 via Istanbul. However, I have to go OUT through Istanbul immigration to receive a ticket for Libyan wings. After getting my boarding pass, I have to go IN through immigration again at Istanbul Airport. In this case, do I need to do a PCR test at Istanbul Airport for Immigration in Istanbul? For reference, I will receive a PCR test in Korea on January 22 and depart with a negative certificate.

Yes Tony, a PCR test is needed in order for you to leave the transit area. If you submit the test 72hours at most before your travel; then you won't have a problem circulating inside the Airport.
